POLY BUCKET EDGES
Our poly bucket edges are Cutting Edge Poly’s biggest seller. Used by professionals all over the world. Our edges are designed to minimize or avoid damage to precious surfaces. These edges glide quietly over any material. Poly Bucket Edges are perfect for snow, waste, fertilizer, agriculture or anywhere that steel causes damage, scratches, excessive wear or rust marks.
All 6" edges will come standard with one bevel and all 8" and 10" bucket edges will come standard with two bevels. All edges are 1.5" thick.
Bucket Poly Cutting Edges come undrilled, you can select our hole drilling service for an additional $75.00 below, please give us your exact specifications. To order drilling, we will need hole diameter(round only), number of holes, distance from the edge to the first hole and distance on center for each hole. Holes will be drilled down the center of the edge unless otherwise requested.
Please note: In order to increase the life of the edge, our latest design of Cutting Edge Poly's edges do not come with an inset or 15 degree bevel as seen in the picture. All edges now mount flat to the bucket and have a standard 45 degree bevel for a true universal fit. Each bevel decreases the top mounting area by approximately 1 inch. For example, an 8 inch bucket edge has approximately 6 inches of flat edge to mount to your bucket.
Recommended installation instructions:
1st: Clamp the edge to the bottom of your bucket with the center of the edge directly under your bolt holes. Note: If your current bolt holes are more than 3 inches from the end of your bucket you will need to go to the 8" or 10" edge to use reversible bevels.
2nd: Drill your holes to match your current holes in the bucket
3rd: Remove the edge and countersink 3/4 of an inch from the bottom side to match or exceed the washers used.
4th: Install the edge with the threads up, using a lock washer and standard nut.
5th: Enjoy your new edge.
Note: We are now offering grade 8 carriage bolts in 2.5 and 3 inch lengths below. These are sold as units of 1 with washers and nut. Add as many as you need to attach your edge.
